We are looking for a Digital Designer with web and mobile experience for immediate hire at our Dumbo, Brooklyn office.

We work across a wide range of clients, creating everything from online applications to eCommerce sites to mobile apps and sites – often from scratch. It is an exciting and challenging design environment best suited for passionate self-starters. Qualified candidates should have a Solid understanding of UX design principles and an equally polished portfolio showcasing UI/Web visual design capabilities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Concepting existing and new online and mobile products
• Wireframing for web and mobile
• Building online identities as part of the larger branding process
• Designing sites and applications across a range of client categories and visual styles
• Conducting product testing and quality assurance

Skills and qualities we look for in candidates:

• 3+ years experience
• Solid understanding of UX design principles
• High proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator (required)
• Smart, articulate, and curious designer who loves all things interactive, wants to push the boundaries of technology and user experience, and is ready to take a project and run with it.
• Passion for critical analysis and problem-solving
• Clean and thoughtful design aesthetic
• Strong eye for layout, color, and typography
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and accurately set and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working both autonomously, leading a project from start to finish, as well as working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of code implementation, including CSS, Javascript, and HTML5
• Front-end development skills a big plus
• Knowledge of prototyping tools is a plus
