This Sr. UX Designer role will be working exclusively on a new .com platform our client is launching in late August. It'll be high profile and you will be helping them iterate on the core product. There's incredible opportunity for growth for the individual and the discipline.
The role will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the GM of .com and the Technical Product Owner
- Collaborating with their digital agency to create and maintain the highest UX standards and practices
- Leading new product and feature ideation and development, including: requirements gathering across multiple stakeholders and departments, bringing ideas to life via user stories, user journeys, sketches, sitemaps, wireframes and, where applicable, rapid prototyping
- Presenting work to internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with internal research team for user research, usability testing, reporting and recommendations
- Bringing user-centered and mobile-first design thinking to all projects
- Taking risks and championing new ideas; consensus-building
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in live entertainment: sports, music and/or theater a plus
- Direct experience with large, complex organizations
*This is a long-term freelance opportunity. The designer must be available immediately and able to commit to a standard 40 hour work week in Manhattan.*
